How it works
Ezy Car Rentals is a WordPress plugin that turns your website into a complete car rental booking system. Customers can browse your fleet, check availability, select dates, add extras, and submit a booking — all online. You manage everything from an admin dashboard. We also build the website for you as part of the setup.

Customers visit your website, enter their pickup and return dates, browse available vehicles, select a car, fill in their details, and submit the booking. They receive an instant email confirmation with all the details. You receive an admin notification at the same time. You can then confirm or contact the customer as needed.
The software is the Ezy Car Rentals WordPress plugin — the booking engine, fleet management system, admin dashboard, and email notifications. The website is the public-facing static HTML site your customers see. We build both and connect them together. The $99/mo covers the software licence; website hosting is $15/mo on top.
Yes — our live demo page shows real demo vehicles. You can browse, select dates, go through the full booking form, and see the confirmation screen. That's exactly what your customers will experience on your site.
Technical questions
The plugin runs on WordPress, but you don't need to know how to use WordPress. We install it, configure it, and lock down the WordPress admin so it's simple. Your day-to-day management happens in our custom Ezy Admin dashboard — not the standard WordPress interface.
All our sites are mobile-first — they're designed to look and work perfectly on smartphones before anything else. In Jamaica and the Caribbean, most of your customers will visit on their phone. The booking flow, fleet cards, and admin dashboard are all optimised for small screens.
PWA stands for Progressive Web App. It means you can install the admin dashboard on your phone's home screen like a regular app — no App Store needed. Once installed, it works even when you have limited connectivity, and syncs when your connection is restored. You can manage bookings, view revenue, and monitor your fleet from anywhere.
The REST API (available at your-domain.com/wp/wp-json/ezycr/v1) allows the public-facing static website to pull live vehicle and pricing data from the plugin. You don't need to do anything with it — it's how the frontend and backend talk to each other. Developers can also use it to build custom integrations.
Yes. The public-facing site is built as static HTML — it loads extremely fast because there's no server-side rendering. Static HTML sites consistently score high on Google's Core Web Vitals. We also add proper SEO meta tags, Open Graph tags, schema.org markup for car rental listings, and a sitemap.xml.
Pricing
The $99/mo covers your Ezy Car Rentals plugin licence — all features, all updates, and support. Hosting is separate at $15/mo. During the current promotional period, the website build (normally $1,827) is included free for new clients who sign up on a 12-month commitment.
Because we invest significant time upfront building your website, configuring your fleet, and setting up the system — all at no extra charge under the current offer. The 12-month commitment means we can offer this at a price that works for both sides. After 12 months you continue month-to-month with no contract.
Under the current promotional offer — no. The website build, fleet setup, email configuration, and full plugin setup are all included in your first year's subscription. After the promotional period ends, setup fees may apply for new clients.
You can cancel anytime after your 12-month commitment with 30 days' notice. Your website and bookings data are yours — we can export everything. The plugin will stop receiving updates after cancellation, but existing functionality continues to work.
Payments & Jamaica-specific
The default flow is a booking request with payment collected at pickup — which is how most Jamaican car rental businesses operate. Online payment integration (WiPay, eZeePayments, Lynk, etc.) is available as an add-on. Ask about this during your demo call and we'll discuss what works for your setup.
Jamaica's 16.5% General Consumption Tax is automatically calculated and displayed on every quote and invoice. It appears as a separate line item so both you and your customers can see exactly how much tax is being charged. This is configured by us during setup — you don't need to do anything.
Yes. The plugin supports both USD and JMD, and can be configured to show prices in either currency. Many of our clients price in USD for international customers but we can configure this to match your preference.
Yes. The pickup and drop-off location fields support Jamaican parishes and specific locations like Norman Manley Airport (Kingston) and Sangster Airport (Montego Bay). We configure this for your actual service area during setup.
Setup & support
After your qualification call and once you provide your business details, vehicle information, and branding — typically 3 to 5 working days. Larger builds with many vehicles or custom requirements may take up to 7–10 days.
We'll ask for: your business name and contact details, your fleet (vehicle names, photos, daily rates, categories), your pickup/drop-off locations, any extras you offer (GPS, child seat, insurance packages), and your logo if you have one. We guide you through this with a simple intake form after your call.
You get ongoing WhatsApp support from the Ezy Web Pro team. For technical issues, we typically respond and resolve within the same business day. You also receive all plugin updates automatically — new features, fixes, and improvements are included in your subscription.
Customisation
Yes — fully. We build each site with your brand colours, logo, fonts, and photography. No two client sites look the same. The shared framework underneath means reliable, tested code; the design layer on top is entirely bespoke.
Yes. Through the admin dashboard you can add new vehicles, update pricing, change availability status, and upload photos. Basic fleet management is self-service. For larger changes (new vehicle categories, pricing structure changes) we're happy to assist.
Yes. We actively develop the plugin based on client feedback. If you need something the current version doesn't have, tell us — it may already be on the roadmap, or we can discuss custom development. Many features in the plugin today (free day promotions, security deposits, bus categories) came from client requests.
